Will be with Orlando at least one more year, per ESPN.

Nothing like realizing that you are happy being the big fish in a small pond. Good for him.

I really hope he commits to them long term. He can bring them a championship if he gets help.

Maybe.

I'm just happy it prolongs the uncomfortableness betwixt he and the Stan.

He wants a trade, no he wants to stay, well now he wants out again!

OH MY!

He will get help and it may not change anything.

This is from Chris Broussard.

I'll believe it when there's ink on the paper that he exercises his option for next season.

Dwight is like a teenage girl, he loves being the center of attention, he is a drama queen. This just keeps him in the center of the spot light a little longer.

He's going to Carlos Boozer them.

Could you imagine the backlash if that actually happens? It would be worse than the Lebron/Cleveland thing.

More and more, I'm really starting to build a good base of disdain for Dwight.

According to Broussard the Magic will try to deal him tomorrow if the paperwork isn't signed.

Chris Broussard sucks. So does Dwight. When Broussard isn't on air for a while, he tends to make up stories. He and Dwight were made for each other with their need for attention.

He was trying to Carlos Boozer them so when he goes to the Nets they would be at full strength. That's really fucked up.

I, for one, am shocked that Chris Broussard had faulty information.

Supposedly changed his mind again and WON'T opt out. Had an interview last night saying he would waive the clause.

Not from this interview, but apparently, there are significant bonuses in his Adidas contract for making the playoffs. If he is traded to the Nets, they will not make the playoffs, and he will lose the bonus money.

It's probably not fair, but it's stories like this and the Carmelo stuff that makes it hard for me to ever go all in on the NBA. The Bulls are just lucky that so far Rose is happy in Chicago.

He might be more unlikable than Lebron

If/when he goes on TV to announce his decision, THEN he will be possibly more unlikeable that Lebron.

He seems like he's trying to go out of his way to not be portrayed as a Lebron-like "traitor" and he is looking like a clown.

How so? He's giving Orlando another chance. One that Orlando's management didn't earn. Him staying at least one more year is impressive on his part IMO.

I agree he's afraid of being vilified like LeBron. I disagree about him looking like a clown. It comes off to me that he genuinely is torn on what he wants to do.

I think we all can agree Orlando has failed on it's part of the obligation to surround him with a team capable of winning the Finals so far. I think he'd be fully justified in leaving, but I think he really just doesn't know what he wants to do.

He's not that likeable.

The Superman stuff is stupid and the Christian stuff became a little disingenous when he stalked porn star, Mary Cary.

It sounds like Orlando has called his bluff on staying next year and Dwight wouldn't sign anything.

Is the story yet again reversing? Mike and Mike were saying the latest breaking news to come in is that Dwight has agreed to sign and will this morning.

Favrio, he's changed his mind 3 times in 24 hours about whether or not to opt out of his contract.

That's a bit clownish.
