Meaningless NBA arguments: -Luol Deng is a better basketball player than Carmelo Anthony ...It once was argued unsuccessfully by IMU that LUOL was better than Melo... Statistics won the argument. -Rick Smits is better than Dwight Howard ...To my disbelief, Hova, in a moment of sure drunken confidence once stated he'd take Rik Smits over Dwight Howard. An unbelievable assertion which makes all other nba thoughts by hova very questionable. -Magic Johnson better than MJ ...I couldn't believe my eyes as I read JoRR try to convice the board Magic was better than the goat... Come on now. -Insert Lebron meme ...Even though he is undoubtedly the best player of his generation, people still want to snipe... And it just seems so petty now... Barring injury, Lebron and Durant are going to rewrite many records by the time they retire... |

Also, let us never ever forget FF stating, amongst other past transgressions, he would rather have Andre Iguodala or Tony Allen playing defense for him over Lebron... Silliness at its best. |

@Bagels... I think all young guards turn the ball over a lot. Around 3/game... So idk... It usually gets better. @312... He did say that, and actually got heated when I disagreed with him. |

JBills, I'd be with you if this thread didn't have such a "I'm smart and you're not" vibe. |

JBill - I never said id rather have Iggy or Allen playing defense over LeBron, I said they were better on ball defenders. Because they are. Im not worried about what you or 312 think because you've both already demonstrated multiple times that you two are retarded. |

Just recently, DB suggested the 2007 Cavaliers would beat this 2012 miami heat team... Come on now. |

He has deferred more than say Kobe/MJ, but LBJ has dif talents... Im too young to remember if Magic handled end ofgame situations like LBJ, but James still has a 2nd half of his career to play. |

Are you telling me that the NBA Finals Cavaliers team was better than this current Heat team? The 2007 Lebron-Cavs would absolutely beat the current Heat team, and very easily if Bosh was out. |

Instead of calling me out, why not try to explain to me why I am wrong? That team had Wally, no way they'd lose! ...and a hungry Ira Newbie. But seriously, that team featured a Lebron that was much more hungrier. He put together one of the most dominating performances I have ever witnessed against the Pistons that year in the conference finals. At worst, he cancels himself out with current Lebron. The rest of the squad could easily beat Wade + Collection of dogshit. |

I don't think they could. The Cavs supporting cast was dogshit. I gotta think Wade + dogshit is better than dogshit itself. Chalmers is better than Eric Snow/Larry Hughes Haslem is probably better than Gooden. Z was better than Anthony but was a statue defensively. And Wade would cancel out any rif raff left I forgot. |

The Cavs supporting cast played much better together as a cohesive unit. Big Z & Verajao are no slouches either. Yes, Snow was bad, but he wasn't handling the ball in crunch time anyway. |

What is more embarassing was when jbills implied that any officiating at any level is objective. Kind of a stupid thing to say. |
