I think the Heat will at least get to the Conference Finals.

Yeah, they will. They have to, just like the Pisstons did in the early '90s. The Bulls'll trade someone (Deng, Noah or Boozer) for this generations Scottie and win muy titles.

You act as though this thread was started in the wrong section or something. Why seek out a section you don't like, about a sport you have no interest in, simply to make a comment like the above that adds absolutely nothing to anything?

Get that weak ass shit outta here man.

The Heat very well could repeat, but honestly I don't think they'll have that hard of a time getting out of the east unless they run into the Pacers again. The Thunder/Spurs/Lakers could re-tool, it's hard to say.

I think the Heat have a great chance to repeat but I also think if the Bulls stayed healthy they would've beaten the Heat this year.

Yeah what the hell, why couldn't the Bulls with a healthy Rose have beaten the Heat? I don't think it's far fetched at all.

If the Heat do repeat, and Riley sticks around, they will legally be allowed to use the term three-peat.

Why do you think the Bulls would've beaten them? I think the Heat would've smoked them again.

:drunken: .....that plus the combination of the topic creator and my all out effort to avoid any nba talk finally culminated.

avoiding NBA talk yet posting in the NBA section seems somewhat counterproductive, but that's just me

In my mind at that time I was hoping all talk would end with the end of the season. All I can say is that the strike/lockout or whatever it was...was awesome and I wish it could have lasted an eternity.

I think rose grew alot from last year. Miami's biggest problems are 1's and 5's. I think Rose would've had a much better series than last year and the rest of the guys would've played well enough to overwhelm Miami. I think it would've gone six games. Not sure how next year plays out but if Rose comes back at 95%+ I think they are as good as Miami going forward.

There are a lot of "ifs" in my mind. I wonder what will happen with Luol Deng along with Brewer, Korver and Watson. The Bulls have very little cap room after Rose, Boozer, Noah and Deng. What would be awesome though is if they could snag Dwight Howard and dump Boozer and Noah.

They have a solid chance of repeating... The West honestly seems wide open @ this point. As it has been for years, but the talent is even more equally distributed amongst 10-12 teams...

Dwight Howard is a problem for the Heat. I think where ever he ends up (Brooklyn) will be a problem for the heat...

New York needs some serious depth additions to their roster to make a legit run at miami.

Celtics aren't what they used to be.

Indiana is tough.
