Starting in a bit. I love the NBA Draft. Last important sports day til September.

I predict the Warriors and Timberwolves make at least one inexplicably stupid move tonight.

I've got a drinking game ready.

Everytime Jay Bilas says wingspan or "He has a good motor" do a shot.
If the Timberwoves draft somebody white shotgun a beer.
If the Bobcats trade any more draft picks, break an empty bottle over Jordan's head.

Might be the first draft since 1992 where a foreign player isn't drafted in the first round. It's about time Stern cracked down on flopping.

Wolves already traded their 1st round pick for Budinger 8)

Anthony Davis is more Greg Oden than Shaquille O'Neal I think.

I think Oden would've been really good if not for injuries. A rich man's Tyson Chandler.

I meant in terms of the "dominant big men" they showed.

That was silly. They specifically skipped Dwight Howard and mentioned Yao and Oden just to keep the 5 year thing going.

Lol!

Jay Bilas just referenced the infamous "take a shot anytime Bilas says wingspan" drinking game.

"When you think of Anthony Davis you think of one word... wingspan, wingspan, wingspan. So tip it back three times America!" - Jay Bilas

My night has been made. Glorious.

i agree that Oden would have been very good

he was already dominating defensively , all he needed to do was add a few offensive moves

Washington makes a great pick. Bradley Beal. They really had no choice, but it still surprises me when an NBA team does something completely rational.

Big first surprise of the night. Dion Waiters goes 4th to Cleveland. Gotta think Barnes or Robinson was the better pick here.

a lot of these interviews are pretty awkward and uncomfortable, especially the 9 year old girl...

Robinson and Cousins. Could be a scary frontcourt for the Kings. At least til January when Cousins demands a trade again.

Speeps Sports been told exclusively that Barnes is a buster and has no NBA position.

It would've been hilarious it Portland took Drummond.

I like Lillard. Chad Ford made very strong pro-Lillard points the past day or so. Could be to Portland what they wanted Bayless to be.

when they asked Barnes about what he knows about the Warriors i really wanted him to say 'well their head coach was the target of an extortion scheme '

Barnes has bust written all over him. Marvin Williams 2.0.

It would be great if Teuvo Teravainen fell to the Hawks at 18. Some teams have him graded almost as high as Yakupov......wait.... wrong draft. Sorry. Carry on.

Marvin Williams didn't have a mid range jumper or average 17ppg for two years in college.

He's 10x the shooter/scorer and overall player Marvin was. Most scouts think Barnes is the opposite of a bust. He's a really safe pick. He's gonna be Danny Granger. He just won't be a star.

I'd say Avery Johnson.
