The Nets should be a playoff team if they stay healthy. Not a bad roster. |

KS, good job on the preview. As a rook, I'm still unfamiliar with your sport preferences other than Packers football but I hope you do a preview for the NHL Atlantic division too. I'd love to know whether you think the Pens, Flyers or Rangers will capture the division. |

It's pretty solid. Maybe don't need the GM name and the cost of the arena SHARKing Score. |

cpguy wrote: The Nets should be a playoff team if they stay healthy. Not a bad roster. Yeah they'll almost certainly be a playoff team, although its possible they finish fourth in their own division. They are going to be extremely weak defensively, especially up front and with their bench. Wallace is losing his legs a bit, and that's a really bad sign for a guy who has relied upon his athleticism his entire career. That was a stupid championship declaration by the Russian dude, and trading for JJ only guaranteed them mediocrity for the next 3-4 years. I like Marshon Brooks though. The Atlantic is going to be decided by Philly and Boston. NY will be in play but they have a higher floor/lower ceiling than those other two teams. |

Keeping Score wrote: Nets narrative is finished. You didn't ask for my opinion, but I am giving it anyhow. Good stuff. I like all of the information in something resembling a KS spin, and showing who is new and who was cut loose. Decent pics, and no loading issues. Hopefully we can keep this a gif free zone and keep it as easy reference. |

OMG Keeping Score, I respect you so much for doing this. It is so important and seemingly so difficult. You actually cut/paste 5 times for every team??????? |

Keeping Score wrote: Phil McCracken wrote: Damn....Ronnie Brewer signed with the Knicks? Yep. Though as of September 7th, he had arthroscopic knee surgery which needed approximately 6 weeks to heal. Leaving him about a week or two to get ready before the regular season begins. Shumpert would probably be the preferred starter, but he's out until Dec/Jan-ish. JR Smith may even begin the season as a starter, but Woodson likes him coming off the bench in that 6th man role. Yeah he has that shooter's mentality where even if he comes off the bench cold he can light it up Jamal Crawford or Ben Gordon. Plus if he isn't starting you can still let the ball make it to Carmelo without JR chucking it. |

Farvio, Bagels, Kid, anybody??????/ I've seen any of the following: PG Holiday SG Turner SF Wright PF Young C Bynum I assumed it was this. Hawes wouldnt be a very good 4. I'd think they are actively trying to trade him. |

Keeping Score wrote: Focus people. Who's backing up Jrue Holiday? Does Evan Turner run the offense when Jrue sits, and if so, when does Evan rest? Could it possibly be Royal Ivey for goodness sake? Could Evan Turner start the season at small forward, thus allowing either Jason Richardson or Nick Young to start at the SG spot? I was probably wrong. They should start Richardson and have Evan as the sixth man. He should. E more consistent in that role this year with more experience, and like you said, someone needs to handle the ball for the 15 mpg or so that Jrue is on the bench. Nick Young sucks. |

Keeping Score wrote: I need a ruling. The Nets preview was brief comparatively speaking. The Celtics, Knicks and now the 76ers previews are very sini-esque. Too many words or cool? Dude, 76ers edited 28 times...and you're not done? I don't mind the length. I can see wanting to go back occasionally and checking in on where a team "started" and expectations etc., and then compare with how they are at a certain period in the future. I wouldn't add on much more. I also wouldn't waist time going back and adding on to the Nets. But that's just me. |
