the bulls should try and miss the playoffs so stern can rig them another nice lottery pick to get a thoroughbred to run with rose. lamentably, it won't happen and NBA hell will continue.

east

1. heat
2-8: who cares? the bulls will be in there somewhere

west

1/2 = lakers/thunder (i have no idea)
3-8: who cares? clippers? spurs? grizzles? OH MY.

in the end, the get along gang down in miami will win another title, with the league PRAYING for a heat/lakers tilt so there can be kobe/lebron in teh finals, which is what everyone really wants.

The teams I see taking a fall this year are:

Spurs - It has to happen sometime
Mavericks - I've got them in the playoffs, but I wouldn't be shocked if they fall completely out of the mix
Knicks - That team is super old, and has the possibility to be very good, or extraordinarily bad.
Magic - They might compete with the Bobcats this season

1. Miami

4. Chicago
5. New York
6. Atlanta

8. Cleveland

West
1. Oklahoma City
2. San Antonio

Repeat of last year, Heat over Thunder in the Finals

ROY: Unibrow
MVP: LeBron... I guess
DPOY: Lebron - he has to win one of these years. He deserved it last year.
COY: Doc Rivers

I also expect a HUGE year from Kyrie Irving. I expect the Bynum thing to go pretty disastrously and Philly to take a big step back this year.

Some teams will win, some teams will lose, they will all do both and I will not watch........maybe when D Rose gets back but definitely not before that.

You do this shit every year. Nobody's making you watch. You've made your stance clear time and time again.

This is only the 2nd year of me not watching. I used to watch quite a bit years ago.

Cleveland Cavaliers will win 20 games. Kyrie Irving will average 20 points 5 rebounds 5 assists. Anderson Vara-hey-ho will get traded. Tristan Thompson will almost average a double-double with 12pts 8 rebounds. I think Dion Waiters will show he was a huge reach. :(

I'm not crazy about the Waiters pick, but they really need a SG. I think it's pretty much a lock that Cleveland wins over 30 games, barring an Irving injury. If they were gonna trade Vara-ho Im pretty sure they would have done so already.

Just one game but with Wall out a month and absolutely brutal Wizards roster is Beal getting forced into a super shitty situation?

Wood,

Do you like having Andy around as an example to the younger players, or would you rather trade him for more assets?

I think I want to keep him. I'm kind of worried though about his health since he's now 30, has had 2 consecutive season-ending injuries and plays so damn hard. But he'd be a great mentor for Thompson and Zeller. His season so far has been unreal. I won't be mad though if he gets traded and Cavs get more assets with the young core.

In that same game, center Anderson Varejao bruised his right knee in the first quarter.

Varejao played through the pain on adrenaline but his knee swelled up later. He sat out Cleveland's game at the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night because of soreness. The Cavs said it's unclear when either will return.

Hopefully it's not too serious b/c Thompson is not a center. He played OK but Landry and Lee both had great games inside.

Tyler Zeller is also out with a concussion and broken cheekbone.

My Packers stink has rubbed off on the Cavs and now they are racking up injuries too. :|

Maybe you should quit the Packers and become a Bears fan.

Dang. Dion Waiters sucked today:
3-16 Overall FG
1-5 3PT FG
8 pts 4 rbs 2 asst 2 stl 2 to

But Irving and Vara-hey-ho absolutely killed it. Thompson had only 5 rebs but can't blame him too much with Varajeo stealing his opportunities with 18 (!) rebounds.
