In other words, we want the Lakers in the finals against the Heat this year. |

Pops is one of the few coaches who has ever used it effectively, and this rule will do little do dilute the problem. He often uses it in the middle of the game as a way of slowing down the other team's offense. This would be particularly effective if LA acquired some shooters. |

It always comes back to Pops, doesn't it? Especially since Stern overstepped his bounds. That's my team til Rose comes back, unless Noah plans on going Russel(fuck Wilt) on the league permanently, which I highly doubt. Y'all can have Minnesota. |

What a terrible idea. |

Just messing with ya, Farvio. But seriously, I don't like the idea of changing the game for the sake of changing it. I mean, with the NFL I can at least understand the whole safety angle with some of their changes. But there's no real reason to do this kind of stuff in the NBA. It would not be a rule change made out of necessity and would essentially be "fixing" a problem that doesn't exist. Leave the damn game alone. Reminds me of when they moved the 3-point line closer prior to the 1994-95 season because the 1994 Finals got low ratings. The league panicked because they assumed the low ratings were due to the lack of high scoring in the series. But it was a knee-jerk overreaction. The first post-Jordan Finals series was gonna be low rated regardless of how much scoring took place. They kept the 3-point line in for three fucking seasons before they realized it was a stupid idea and moved it back where it belonged. |

There's quite a race to catch Gary Betteman for worst commissioner in sports. |

Who would've thought 2 years ago that Bud Selig would be the best of the bunch? |
