Technically, Washington is worse.

They play the Wizards Friday night at the Verizon Center. Wouldn't be shocked if they lost that one, too.

In fact, guys, you won't believe who I got a Tweet back from last night...Bonnie Bernstein!

You can tell in the interviews that Kobe is about to lose it. His coach is driving him crazy. Howard is driving him crazy. Everything is driving him crazy. He is going to snap shortly.

That postgame last night with Kobe was great. Like you said, he's on the brink of insanity. I was sitting there hoping he would lay into the whole organization. It will happen eventually. I love that guy.

It had nothing to do with food. I tweeted Bonnie that I thought there's parity in the NBA and she agreed with my observation. In fact, she felt that Dwight Howard would be somewhere else next year.

I was hoping the same thing as I watched it. I used to hate Kobe, but I have grown to like him and respect him more and more. I sure wish the Bulls could have him to run with D Rose the next couple years.

Guys, he might be the closest there is to Michael Jordan without him being named Michael Jordan. That would be something if Kobe was somewhere other than the Lakers...especially now.

you know...i was going to say something about him being a black hole this year, but i looked and he is shooting 48%. not really much to complain about there especially with the volume he's shooting
with howard's FT struggles, the lack of a PG and Gasol being out, i can't really blame him for lashing out

their bench seemed pretty decent before the year started too with Jamison and Blake but now Blake out and Jamison seems to be doing average to below average. you'd think maybe he could step up here.

the bigger issue seems to be that they can't stop anyone

Yeah their defense has been HORRIBLE, which I do not understand at all. They have some good individual defenders, but it is just a big mess.

A real coach could've fixed that.

yeah I am with you on that, the coach is a real problem. but you would think with guys like Kobe, Howard, and Meta they would still be able to overcome the lack of a coach on defense.

Indeed. They really fucked up by hiring D'Antoni, or however the fuck you spell it. The team is also a fragmented mess with no coherency whatsoever. Dwight Howard is also a wiener boy.

Homeboy is a snake oil salesman.

Love me some Kobe, but I am thoroughly enjoying the Lakers flop because of Dwight Howard. He's a bitch after everything that went down in Orlando.

Kobe has himself. To blame,he chased Shaw and Phil out of town.

What? He openly campaigned for Shaw when Phil retired, and wanted Phil back when Mike Brown was launched.

No. That's not why he retired. In fact, Kobe is the reason Phil came back in 2005 and why he stayed as long as he did afterwards.

He originally left after the failed Malone/Payton/Shaq/Kobe super team because of Kobe. He came back a couple years later because Kobe had matured. He didn't leave in 2010 because of Kobe. He was just tired of the game. Just.....STop. posTinG...

Kobe's not a great defender anymore. His all-defense nominations are strictly reputation based, and pretty much every NBA writer i've read that has mentioned it has said it's a joke. I believe last season he ranked 18th, iirc, in PPP allowed. I dont know if Howard's back is hurting him or not, but he's been mostly a non-factor defensively this season.

He left in 2010 because he didnt want to coach Kobe "when he stopped being Kobe"

There's at least a dozen people on this board who have mentioned they regularly post from a phone. Im one of them. You're the only one who hasn't seemed to figure it out. It's really not that tough.
