Keeping Score wrote: Grant Hill is set to make his regular-season debut for the Los Angeles Clippers. The seven-time All-Star is expected to play limited minutes on Saturday against the Orlando Magic, his former team. Hill has missed 36 games with a bone bruise in his right knee. He hasn't played since Oct. 13 when he had eight points and three rebounds in an exhibition game against Miami in Shanghai. 38 games for a bone bruise. Getting old sucks. |

A lot closer to home, it appears as if Luol Deng might be out for a second straight Bulls' game vs. the Lakers tonight due to a nagging hamstring injury. He didn't participate in shootaround, says the Trib's K.C. Johnson, CSNChicago.com's Aggrey Sam & ESPNChicago.com's Nick Friedell's respective Twitters. |

I'm so glad I sold high on Mr. Glass in my pay league. You really did clean up quite nicely in that deal. Were you ever able to parlay Bargnani into something worthwhile? I ended up just dropping Barganani to get JJ Hickson (because some dope dropped him and got John Henson ). It's really not a deep league, and it's filled with some real idiots. So essentially, I turned Varejao into Joakim Noah & JJ Hickson. |

In other Douchebag's pay league fantasy news, I just picked up Andrew Bynum off the waiver wire. Some dude just dropped him out of the blue, after carrying him all season. I didn't understand drafting him in a non-keeper league, but at this point, after having him for almost half a season, you might as well just go down with the ship. All the reports I read say he will be back around the All-Star break. The same guy who dropped Bynum is also still carrying Varejao (who's officially done for the year), so maybe he's just a moron. |

It's a weekly league, so I can just stash him on my bench for now, and I dropped Vince Carter to get him. |

They said he was going to play, and then all of the sudden he was a late scratch. Did he tear it during warmups? |

Keeping Score wrote: Over/Under on how many days before Nas trades him to Psycory? I'll put it at 2 1/2. Rondo is still a keeper. I'm sure it's not lost on you since you're keeping score that it appears that most of the players in this thread that will will miss the remainder of the season was on my team at the time of their injury. I didn't like losing Varejao (a couple days after trading for him) but the loss of Rondo really hurts. Just when I got satisfied with my team. The Fantasy basketball Gods must not like me or they want me to earn the championship. |

I've been trying to make up for his lost rebounds and keep up with your roster and to a lesser degree Bucketheads roster. Now I'm not sure what my next move will be. I do have some valuable draft picks. |

I do have some valuable draft picks. i have this odd feeling that i'm going to log into my baseball account and see a HELLO 2013 trade offer of yu darvish and 3 scuttlebutt prospects for trout and strasburg again. incidentally, senor nasaveli... shoot, i was going to ask about my other keeper league but you're in that one too. i gotta actually play this year. my head is out of my arse and i'm looking forward to re-discovering my love of fantasy baseball this year. are you down to co-commish if yahoo lets me select you? it greyed out the box last time.... but if for some reason i'm slipping i trust that you'll do the right thing in my stead. |

Quote: MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Minnesota Timberwolves guard Brandon Roy has had a setback with his surgically repaired right knee, casting further doubt on his chances of resuming a career derailed by knee problems. Roy gave an update Thursday on his recovery from arthroscopic surgery in December. He says he was feeling close to trying to play in a game for the first time this season, but felt more pain last Saturday and had to slow things down. The former Portland Trail Blazers All-Star retired before last season because of chronic knee issues. After feeling better this summer, Roy signed with the Timberwolves to start a comeback. Roy says his latest setback has been discouraging. But he remains hopeful that he will play this season. He says there is no timetable for his first game. Time to hang'em up. Again... |

Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Celtics have lost rookie F Jared Sullinger for the rest of the season due to a back surgery. Wojnarowski has also Tweeted that Sullinger will need surgery. This news comes just days after the C's lost PG Rajon Rondo due to a torn ACL in his right knee. |

The Bulls could really be shorthanded in Brooklyn tonight. According to CSNChicago.com's Aggrey Sam via Twitter, the Bulls will be without Carlos Boozer for a second straight game due to a right hamstring. Joakim Noah has a foot injury, Vladimir Radmonovic has a bad back & Kirk Hinrich has been sent back to Chicago suffering from an elbow infection. |
