Since adding Rudy Gay they are 7-3 and have beat the Clippers, Pacers, Hornets, Nuggets, Washington and the Knicks twice. If they continue like this they could sneak in as an 8 seed. |

They have 26 games to gain 5 games on the Bucks. I don't like their odds; the Bucks can't slump like this forever. |

He called their games for a decade in Toronto before he became the Bulls' radio voice. Needless to say, Chuck Swirsky, whom I follow @swirsk054 on Twitter, is awfully disappointed the Raptors aren't much better. Swirsky thought his former team was good enough for a playoff spot in the East. That appears very unlikely right now, even with the recent addition of Rudy Gay before the NBA Trade Deadline last month. |

Oh god, the 2006 draft. You had Bargnani, Adam Morrison, and Tyrus Thomas in the top five that year. Even if the Raptors didn't pick Bargnani, they still probably would have whiffed. Oh, and did you forget Greg Oden? Obvious worst first. |

Also, Oden put up an unbelievably monster performance going up against Noah and Horford of Florida in the championship game. Even Simmons wrote afterwards that the game single handedly caused him to doubt his over the top Durant love. If Oden didn't have health issues(I know injuries were a concern even prior to the draft), I'm pretty confident he would never be mentioned with the likes of the Kandi Man, Kwame, Bargnani, Joe Smith, etc. |

There were questions about Durant's body I remember the first time I saw Durant play at Texas and I was blown away. I tried to watch him play as much as possible, he was so smooth. Having said that if you had the first pick it was a pretty good consensus that you would have taken Oden. |

I have no hope that anyone will rise up to catch the Bucks. If that were the case, Derrick could take the rest of the year off and the Bulls could have a solid chance at hitting the lottery. That would warm the cackles of my heart, therefore it has no chance of happening. I was a huge fan of Durant in college and going into the draft, and specifically remember having conversations about it with one of my buddies. I also do my best to remind him of this discussion constantly. He was also a Thabeet fan. Yeah, every night Durant was putting up lines like 35/15. Hard not to love. |
