Not the first stupid thing he's said. Any game between the two would be competitive. |

Im not really interested in who would win one on one. That's not really relevant. Who is best at playing with 4 other guys? |

They're both excellent at playing with 4 other guys. One guy won 6 championships and made it to 8 eastern conference finals and the other guy has a championship and has made it to finals three times. |

I'd take Lebron in the first three quarters and Jordan in the fourth. |

I never knew that Jordan was the biggest player in the league when he was playing. I agree with Zo. Jordan could never play against someone who is taller or weighs more. |

LeBron has the advantage of not getting fouls called on him offensively and defensively and the players in Jordan's era were allowed to get away with much more physical play including handchecking. LeBron has never maximized his post game like Jordan did. Jordan also brought it every night. LeBron has had games where he choked or didn't show up. LeBron will win more MVPs, but he has already lost twice in the NBA Finals, which Jordan never did once. |

Every player during the course of a game has to foul sometimes, whether it's on the ball or away from the action. |

In the end, I guess the final result is all that matters but I don't think people remember just how bad that 2007 Cavs roster was aside from Lebron. I think Lebron should get at least a little credit for carrying that pile of garbage all the way to the Finals. |

I remember watching game one hoping LeBron would pull a miracle. Awful |

You can argue that the Cavs upset the best team in the East (Detroit). So I'd credit him for that as well. |

There was some kind of record for games this season in which he was not called for a foul. I don't know if they keep records on that, but it was several games with no fouls on him. Plus what LeBron does in driving to the hoop would be an offensive foul on players of lesser reputation. |

I would take Jordan. Period. He was about as intense a competitor as there ever was. Lebron is a beast for sure but I think Jordan would refuse to be defeated and what he accomplished in driving his teammates to excellence also separates him from Lebron. It will also be interesting to see how Lebron's body ages and how he adapts. Jordan was able to adapt and still dominate. Will Lebron be able to do that as well?? |

I think Scottie doesn't like MJ because he over shadowed him as a player. That is the only logical way to explain all of these crazy shots he takes at MJ. |

I'm interested to watch this, given the way Lebron plays. He will still be a great distributor and offensive presence, but I'm not too sure about how he ages, given his lack of pure scoring moves aside from a jump shot or a pure athletic drive. We shall see. |

I think a player's ability to age gracefully is related to work ethic. Check out guys like MJ and Kobe, noted workout freaks, who remained dangerous well into their 30s. That kind of work ethic also allowed them to transform their game to accommodate their diminished athleticism. Then you got guys like Vince Carter, Iverson, McGrady (to a degree, I know he had back issues as well), who sort of dropped off the map once their athletic abilities diminished. I know nothing about LBJ and his work ethic, I assume it's good but you never know. I also understand he worked with Hakeem a summer or two ago on post moves, so maybe that's an indication of what's to come once he hits NBA old age. |

Pippen has no reason to be insecure. Grant Hill, Tracy McGrady, and Penny Hardaway would love to have had careers and accomplishments comparable to Pippen. |

Only a major injury can derail LeBron's career. He takes great care of himself. He has 5 to 7 more prime years and will play until he is 40. |

How do you assume this, given his lack of efficient scoring moves aside from pure physical ability? I'm not sure pure physical prowess is enough once you get up to 33 and 34. |

He was one of the greatest players of all time and won 6 titles but he is an afterthought to most fans and "experts". His greatness is overlooked in the worst way because of MJ. I'm guessing he went at MJ often in practice and probably shut him down too. Unfortunately history doesn't care. |

His game has evolved and physically I believe his body will hold up. He is a workout freak. He rides his bike miles to the game and then plays 48 mins and then hits the weight room after the game. |

Evidenced by the fact that people still talk about migraines and 1.8 seconds, despite everything else Pippen accomplished. |

If Hue Hollins doesn't blow that call the Bulls probably go to the NBA Finals with Pippen. |

I think we need to differentiate between athleticism and physical strength/body build/etc. The former can and does diminish without necessarily impacting the latter, so I think the question is, if I understand Leash correctly, is how can we assume LeBron will continue to dominate into his 30s since his game currently relies on a lot of athleticism, much of which will eventually expire? |
