What do you think? Just off the top of my head I can't think of another one that I believe would lose to either of these. I'm open to suggestions.

I am not certain the Heat could beat any team that lost to the Bulls in the finals.

Those two champions during Jordan's retirement don't inspire much awe.

Those Rockets teams were pretty good. They would have made Chicago work for the 4 and 5 peat.

I think Olajuwon should get a hell of a lot more love than he does.

I think Hakeem would have at least got 1 ring. The Bulls would have had nothing to stop him during that run.

That entire season was just bad.

Whoever won that year would have been ranked as worst ever.

I think the Heat play to their competition.

I definitely think they'd beat some past champs.

And of the Bulls challengers, I think Miami would beat L.A., Sea, and the first Jazz team

Are you fucking kidding me? I could put Olajuwon in my top 5 ever, and feel comfortable with that decision.

No doubt. But that does not mean they were beating the Bulls. Olajuwon could not beat the Bulls by himself. Every other matchup in that series would be in the Bulls favor.

Maybe, maybe not. I think it would've gone 7. Dolphin is arguing they were worst champs ever. No fucking way.

One of those Olajuwon Rockets teams actually won as a sixth seed. They weren't very formidable beyond Hakeem. The second Rockets team was better after they added Drexler.

I don't know if they're the worst ever, but the 2011 Mavs' roster doesn't look very intimidating. I bet they get beat by a lot of other champions of years past.

Houston had a much deeper team outside of Olajuwon. Also, the Bulls' biggest challenge was teams with dominant centers. I think they are very fortunate that they never had to face one in the Finals. And hell, the Bulls stumbled to the finish line the year before against Phoenix. The '94 Rockets were an even better team than the '93 Suns, plus the Bulls did nothing to improve their roster from 1993 to 1994. I think Houston would have beaten the Bulls in 1994 with or without Jordan.

Are you sure about that? I actually had my history screwed up in my earlier post: the Rockets with Drexler finished worse than the 1994 Rockets with Mario Elie and Vernon Maxwell as the primary players behind Hakeem, along with a young Horry and the rookie Cassell.

So the 1994 Rockets, with Hakeem, Elie, and Maxwell are beating the Bulls?

PG

Mad Max, Kenny Smith, Cassell > Whoever the Bulls trotted out in those seasons.

I was a huge fan of the Rockets. I think they could have beaten the Bulls if they had slowed the game down and posted Hakeem. It was pretty tough to foul him because he was immune to the hack a shaq stuff the Bulls perfected later with the three headed center. I would have liked Horry matching up with Pippen as well defensively.

They had better PG play and a deeper bench with Elie, Cassell, Herrera, and Bullard all coming off the bench.

The Olajuwon difference would have put them over the top though. As good as Jordan was, he could not make up the difference that having a dominant MVP-level Olajuwon would have given Houston.

I think the Suns team was better. Even without Ceballas

Not a game changer at the time, but the Bulls did in fact finally add Kukoc to the roster that year. It was his rookie year and he averaged somewhere around 12 points. He also hit a number of game winners that year.

94 Rockets needed 7 games including all 48 mins of game 7 to beat a Knicks team that could have easily lost to the Bulls W/O Jordan weeks earlier.

I'm talking about the way they won those 6 games. That was the Bulls championship team that was most heavily reliant on Jordan of all six. Jordan's supporting cast let him down in that series. The miserable performance in two of the three games in Chicago, combined with that monumental fourth quarter collapse in Game 6 tells me that those Bulls as constructed were running on fumes. 12 points in the fourth quarter - with 9 scored by Jordan. They were, as I said, limping to the finish line and I doubt they would have won Game 7 in Phoenix had Paxson not made that shot.

If I wanted to be a jerk, id say that all this stems from Cairo's Pippen love.

Bulls wouldnt have won even with Jordan
Kukoc is worthless

Its all Pro Pippen Propaganda

But im not a jerk.

I haven't even mentioned Pippen. Not sure what your angle is, but you're way off.

I think I did a good idea of explaining myself, so if you're going to take the antagonistic route, the conversation is over at this point.
