Biggie, you and I disagree often, but don't you think you could write a lengthy post that would put sini to shame on why MJ is the GOAT? In fact, I would love to read that. We may disagree on Luc, politics, the NFL, radio hosts, city vs suburbs vs country, grammar, etc, but I am with you on MJ. Write your Magnus opus already, man! |

As the years pass, many times players achievements are diluted and some forgotten. The old guys that 500+ HR's without batting gloves or weight training (PEDS). I think those achievements are kind of forgotten. Jordans legend and brand might have grown, but there are many that just never got the feel of the electricity he brought to the arena. EVERYONE was in awe of the guy. The other players, the refs, etc. It was the very definition of greatness and a book or a Sini like bible couldnt explain those years. Jordans last 2 years with the Bulls, Reinsdorf called MJ and asked what he thought was fair, Jordan gave him a number and that was the deal. One little thing in those deals was Jerry paid 50% upon signing and 50% at season halfway point. The most the league would allow. Contrary to his usual attempt the sell the player a Future Value Annuity. |
