SI decided to release a mock before the lottery is even decided. Interesting take on the best draft class since 2003.

The Lakers or the Knicks will get the #1 pick. The odds of the Knicks getting it are slim but the NBA needs the Knicks and the Lakers to be good.

Author Chris Mannix has the Bulls taking NC State forward T.J. Warren at #16, and D-League/former UNC Tarheel Shooting Guard P.J. Hairston at #19... Decent picks, but I really would like UK shooting guard James Young to slide to the Bulls.

Haha... I agree about big markets, and if not the top pick one of those two teams will be in the top 3 most definitely. The draft class is just too good for the Lakers or Knicks to miss out on a potential star.

IF the Bulls don't trade the pick they will draft some guy from a championship team or a high character/high effort guy with a high floor.

To Knicks - Bulls 16-19 picks, Char pick, Bulls #1 in 2015, rights to Mirotic.

Have enough in salary expiring to move to NYK.

Knicks have No picks coming.

If Melo really wants to win the Bulls shouldn't have to make another move beyond dumping Boozer. He could sign a 2 or 3 year deal KNOWING the Bulls will extend him when they get his Bird rights.
