Anyone else watch it?

Really enjoyed it.

Did not remember that the 76ers offered a trade to the Bulls for the 3rd pick and was willing to give up Dr J

Throw in a pick further down the board and it's a deal

did they quote Rod Thorn?

"Michael is a very good offensive player but not an overpowering one, he's not the kind of guy who will single-handedly turn around a franchise, and I'd never ask him to do that."

And the questions always remains, IF KRAUSE HAD PICK #2, DOES HE TAKE BOWIE?

Terry Boers was the only one to recognize Jordan's greatness that early

Sounds like the 76ers did too.

Dr J (prob in his early 30s) and the #5 pick for the #3 pick is a pretty hard deal to pass up.

They were clearly sold on Jordan and thankfully so.

I am guessing the Bulls would have taken Barkley at the 5

My how history would have been different.

in the 30 for 30 on Sam Bowie, Thorn said twice that they had intended to take Jordan even at 2. They thought Bowie's injury history was too suspect.

Well, I doubt he's going to say "We were ALL IN on Bowie and lucked into the GOAT"
