D. Rose rambling through some kind of pregame speech to the fans.

USA starters for 1st exhibition are Anthony Davis, Stephen Curry, James Harden, Kenneth Faried and Rose.

Maybe we can get Anthony Davis to "come home" after his initial contract?

He looks a step slow and doesn't have the same lift.

I didn't see this thread so I didn't catch the game until after the LLWS instant classic. When he got in the game he looked a step slower and didn't have the lift. That was only about 3 minutes of play.

Of course he just went coast to coast and made a buzzer beater.

Don't care that Rose missed that dunk. His hops were fine. But it's clear, he doesn't have the vertical leap that he had 3 years ago. Which is expected. But the way people were talking about him, they said he still had the same hops. He doesn't.

It's still good enough. He'll be a good player. It's just not that "Wow" type of shit he once had.

Completely agree. He has enough athletic ability to still be an all star but I'm not seeing the skill.

He's still the fastest guy on the court... by far.

Not sure if the lateral movement is the same. His straight line speed is fine.

I could be seeing things but he appears to still have a limp.

Why the USA coaches had to lie about him is beyond me. They were gushing over him about his practices.

Just say he's fine. Just say he's good. They were all saying he was better than what he used to be. He's not. It's expected. I don't know why they felt they had to lie for him when they knew everybody would eventually see what he is.

I see it too but only when he's walking.

I think they were surprised he was as good as he was and it sounded like he was playing with more intensity than everyone else.

If you guys remember, Jordan always had a limp too. A slight limp. Like past the age of 28.
