https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SbJ4Xf-t5E In one training session the group divided into two teams, Blue (led by Johnson, with Barkley, Robinson, Mullin, and Laettner) and White (led by Jordan, with Malone, Ewing, Pippen, and Bird). Daly told the teams to play "All you got now. All you got." White won, 40 to 36, in what Jordan recalled as "the best game I was ever in" and Sports Illustrated later called "The Greatest Game Nobody Ever Saw". |

That one game where Melo led the Knicks to the conference finals. Heard the Knicks got their money's worth that time. |

I am not sure if it would qualify as greatest, but certainly one of the most entertaining. It was that triple overtime playoff game between the Bulls and Celtics. I was at the pool area at the Wynn Hotel and Vegas, and every guy with a ticket was huddled at the pool bar watching the game. I think this was the game: http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=290430004 |

I was just watching this yesterday. I think it's really cool that all of those HOF's took that game, which couldn't of been anymore meaningless, so seriously and played it with so much intensity. Just shows how much they truly loved the game. I wish they'd release footage of the entire game. |

At the same time you had the hawks playing in the playoffs it was likely my favorite sports time sans the 85 bears and the 91 bulls. I guess I can't say any of the bulls runs were less exciting than that but damn that celtics series. I also watched a ton of bad bulls so it was a coming out moment of real competitive ball. |

I went to the Double Overtime Game 4 (The Ben Gordon "nut grab" game). That was definitely the best basketball game I have seen in person. |

I truly am a Bulls fan. Yes that may have been the greatest, while not the most emotional. I used to know but how many over times were in that series. Every game sans game seven was an absolute nail biter. |

Every game sans game seven was an absolute nail biter. 7 overtime periods were played that series (in 4 games). Game 1 (OT) Game 4 (2OT) Game 5 (OT) Game 6 (3OT) Game 3 was a blowout in favor of Boston, and yeah Game 7 sucked after that epic game 6 win. This series was Joakim's coming out party. Every opinion I had of him changed after the way he played during this run. And Fuck KG: |

Now I've come to realize he is one of the most emotionally damaged basketball players in recent memory. The shit he said to Tim Duncan on Mother's Day was a nail in the coffin for my fandom. |

His honey nut Cheerios thing was funny though but yeah I loved KG and as much as Lebron is the perfect basketball player on paper so was KG. His crazy was hid in Minnesota. Grow up in South Carolina have a cup of coffee in Chicago then face Minnesota winters might have done it. |

He isn't a HOF but no one expected him to ever be an allstar. That was reserved for Tyrus. |

Syracuse v UConn baby - Big East 2009 quarter finals - Cuse never has the lead until the last overtime - Jim Boeheim telling the kids to not give up, give it your all - Hasheem Thabeet and Kenda Walker saying "You're not getting away that easy Jimmy baby!" - Jeff Adrien saying "You lost the game, now I gotta go play in the Spanish league for peanuts or cacahuetes as they call them, thanks a lot guys." Rick Pitino laughing from his TV, "Don't tire yourselfs out guys! We gotta play you later, save some in that tank for me and future NBA flameout Terrence Williams." Was a great one. |
