Doc can control him but living in LA may be trouble.

If you're the Clippers you roll the dice because they are weak at the 2-3 position. He would be an upgrade over Redick though Redick probably is a better fit because he is essentially a catch and shoot player. Stephenson is a guy that needs the ball in his hands a lot in order to be effective. That's not going to happen with Chris Paul on the team.

You take the chance if you are the Clippers. They really aren't giving up anything to get him. Lance Stephenson's value around the league must be nothing if this is all it takes to acquire him.

I think this will be big for the Clips. If Doc can't get through to him, then nobody can. It's a low-risk, with a possibly high reward if he can regain some of his game that got him the big contract two seasons ago.

Jordan finally makes playoffs with Hornets and they sell off?

They made the playoffs last year.

My apologies. Don't know why I had that thought. Sleep deprivation.

No worries, I think I just misread what you were saying. I get it now.

His game is not going to mesh well with Paul and Griffin. They both handle the ball a lot and Stephenson is a guy that needs the ball in his hands in order to be effective. He Walker and Jefferson didn't work for the same reason. Stephenson doesn't shoot well and is turnover prone. I know its convenient to think its all about his attitude. It's only about his attitude if he doesn't realize that he isn't that good and accepts being a role player.

Danny Ferry is out as Hawks GM/President. Maybe not enough African in him.

ESPN sources say Cavs forward Kevin Love has opted out of the final year of his contract and will be a free agent July 1

I would guess he will be wearing Laker gear soon

The Cavs screwed the pooch trading for him? Or do they now have cap room?

Lance Stephenson shot 17% from three point range last season. That percentage is the worst in NBA history over a single season.

I really like what the Hornets have done. I think Batum is a steal for them.

If he can play the two he should be cool. They appear to be sold on Kidd Gilchrist at the three. Batum is a good all around guy to have on your team.

He should be able too. Batum is a good all around guy and I believe he's been held back by the talent that Portland has.

Jordan drafted a white guy. Kaminsky is an automatic bust now, right? The Jordan pick might as well be the kiss of death.

re: Lebron

... The four-time MVP has a player option deadline of Monday, and he will decline to pick up that deal for next season.

The belief is James wants to observe how management goes about retaining and accumulating assets keep the organization in win-now mode and improve the roster.
...

Surely wouldn't happen, but great gobs of whaling bride shit would that be entertaining as hell to watch happen ... again.

Will anyone other than Miami pay Wade top dollar to play 50-60 games?

Yep! They could offer him a $40M deal over 4 years. He cares more about total dollars than his annual salary.

How the hell do the Cavs and all these teams manage their caps to sign all this but the Bulls can never do a damn thing?

The Bulls aren't going to do anything wrong.

They've been awful. Tristan Thompson was essentially the same player Taj Gibson was in the 2013-14 season and he got $80M.

That is simply because Lebron told them they had to give him 80 million. At some point he has to start taking heat for all these moves he is making as coach and gm of the Cavs.
