Why the hell is everyone hating on this series too much? Just because the teams dont have rich history and play in AZ and COL? Bullshit fake fans to me. AZ plays great baseball and from what I have seen the Rockies are the funnest team left to watch play. I am looking forward to this series just as much as the ALCS, and this is coming from someone who watched maybe 5-6 non-White Sox MLB regular season games all year and who isnt a very big fan of MLB in general compared to the NFL and NBA.

Rockies take the opener 4-1, Brandon Webb goes 7 IP 2 ER 5 hits, and the Rockies get to their pen a bit, Francis has a very strong outing 6 IP 1 ER.

It doesn't matter to me who is playing. It is the League Championship Series. I will be watching every single pitch of every single game in both series.

(Webb looked great in the 1st)

Yeah he did. I still think they get to him for a few hits and a couple runs sometime around the 3rd or 4th.

Glad to see you of all people are with me on this.

I could have been an inning or two early on the prediction.

4-1, middle of third. These Rockies are as hot as lava.

was thinking the same thing. well, don't be too hard on them. they've only had baseball in their town for a short time. they don't know baseball too much.

If you are talking about the shit thrown onto the field I was thinking the same thing but thought better of it because if it were Wrigley the whole outfield would have been littered. I was waiting for Brenly to say something to that extent.

Oh, and by the way, they haven't had a World Series winner in almost eight years. All the "real" fans are staying away until another ring arrives.

I said it before the series that if Arizona loses game one, this will be a sweep. I stand by the at prediction.

Anyone who loves baseball should like this Colorado team. They have emerging stars, great and disciplined hitting and a good back of the bullpen.

I always watch all the postseason baseball. I'm a big fan. Er, there's only one October.

I was having a hard time understanding how a team could actually wait for pitches and score more than one run off Webb.
