Did you guys notice the thing he had on his right thumb? It fit around the bat so that when he released his right hand it remained on the bat keeping the force of his right hand through impact. It seems like that would allow you to generate more bat speed by keeping that force a split second longer than he otherwise would have been able to. I've never noticed that before. I wonder if other guys use that thing as well. Either way, that was an awesome display.
