I don't think so.
But i believe you can get a cyst from repeated injections into the same spot.
Not sayin, just sayin....

No I'm not.
I'm simply using the internet for its original intent - spreading completely unsubtantiated rumors as fast as piossible.

Quote:
It's a natural topic for speculation, one that Alex Rodriguez has brought on himself with his admission of steroid use from 2001-03. Can the cyst that has been discovered in his right hip possibly be related to illegal steroid use?

Not likely, said anti-doping expert Gary Wadler, an internist and member of the World Anti-Doping Agency.

"Everybody's jumping to correlations or conclusions, but there's no basis for it," Wadler said yesterday from his Manhasset office.

It's simply no fun after a fuckwadler brings logic into it.

I would say that this is eerily similar to Michael Jordan "retiring" to play minor league baseball during the prime of his career. A-rod is seemingly healthy all of last year, then the steroid thing comes out. He's planning on playing in the WBC, but has a meeting w/ MLB officials about the steroids just prior to the start of it, and a couple of days later, he has this terrible hip injury requiring surgery.

This is a suspension without calling it one.

I'M not sayin', I'm just sayin'.

Some guys just don't go for the "cute" types...no matter how much money you have...from Arod's wife to Madonna to this tranny looking chick, they all are average looking.

SPMack - too funny, I was thinking the same thing. There's a website that someone sent me to one time that had real girls and transexuals and you had to be able to pick between the two - I would have definitely put her down as a tranny.

I'm just put off by the fact that if you click on "Kristin Davis" in the story the creepily asexual chick from Sex in the City pops up.

According to Selena Roberts' upcoming 255-page book on Alex Rodriguez, the Yankees slugger took steroids after 2003 and may have begun using them in high school.

This is the same book that initially broke the news of A-Rod's steroid use while with the Texas Rangers. Now it has come to light that he flunked a screening in 2003, while in New York, and showed steroid-use symptoms into the 2005 season. A former high school teammate also told Roberts that Rodriguez was juicing in high school and their coach knew about it. In addition, the book alleges that former Yankees pitcher Kevin Brown was a steroid user.

Shocking. Wow, I really (yawn) can't belive a word of this (yawn). A-Rod was juicing (yawn) before (yawn) and after Texas (yawn)?? AND (yawn) Kevin Brown was a juicer (yawn). My baseball world (yawn) just got turned upside down (yawn).

Tonight, Alex Rodriguez made his return to the Yankee lineup at Camden Yards in Baltimore for the first time since offseason hip surgery & the "admission" to steroid use in an exclusive interview with ESPN's Peter Gammons...What does he do in his first at-bat? On the first pitch off the Orioles' Jeremy Guthrie in the 1st inning, #13 in the classic Yankee road uniform hits a three-run homer in the Yankees' 4-0 shutout win. I wonder what the reaction's going to be when he puts the #13 on in the new Yankee Stadium for the first time next Friday night vs. the Twins in the South Bronx... :?
