When the Tigers don't get good starting pitching they sure can play some ugly baseball. Their defense and bullpen is atrocious.

The Royals are the most dangerous team in these playoffs. They got the magic.

Question is: '05 White Sox, or Rocktober v2?

I love watching Weaver pitch

Nice. It's only a matter of time with Vargas. They should hang a couple more on him next inning.

A healthy left fielder probably makes that catch on the double

I think I will roll with the Oriole... Royal has no chance of overcoming their own manager.

I'll Stick with STL or WAS out of the NL. Baltimore would be interesting to me as they were once the StL Browns... A Natinal/Oriole classic would be awesome too for the reasons everyone has cited

Showalter's boys have played to a .667 clip in the second half. I'm not sure they aren't the best team in the league right meow

If their starters step up it'll be hard to beat them

I mean, it's clear that the Royals really don't want to win, right? I can't be the only one thinking this? Like, they can't wait to give this game away .... well, nobody told Aoki about it but that's probably the language barrier more than an oversight.

Trout represents an expiration date for this game. Royals needed to score there in the top.

That, sports fans, is what a team of destiny looks like. Throw everything out the window, they've got this thing by the horns.

They really are catching all the breaks

First run scored on a play that was tough but definitely could have been made in LF

Second run scored because Trout lost one in the lights

Last night Weaver was throwing his curveball at 68-70 mph. That last jellylegger from Verlander was 80 mph.

The Orioles need to build a wall to make Homeruns clear. So fucking stupid.

The Tigers need to add at least 2 runs to win. Even then, I'd have my doubts.

Surprised the Tigers are running Verlander back out. Tigers manager must hate his bullpen. He left Scherzer in to give up a HR and put a guy on before bringing in a reliever with runners on.

Give the pen the ball at the top.

Sanchez, the guy Detroit brought in, is a starter working the bullpen during the playoffs, they might just ride him until the 9th.

Orioles should've started Gausman instead of Chen. Gausman's mowing down the Tigers lineup.
