I'd like Oakland and a team that will lose to Oakland. Every NL playoff team annoys me greatly.

EDIT: nah the Braves aren't that bad. I miss the Braves on TBS and how they'd produce the telecasts as if they were local. Skip and Pete all like "If you're in the Atlanta area, great seats are still available for today's game and this weekend's series with the Buccos." Sure, I'll be right over.

Braves vs A's or Braves vs Tigers.

A's, Tigers, Orioles, Nats, in that order. Though to be honest the MLB playoffs are always more about hate than love for me. Go Whoever Is Playing The Cardinals And Braves, Go!

Been rooting for the Orioles since early May. Shocked they've even made it this far.

With you on the first three, not the Nats. I can't forgive the whole ceasing-to-be-the-Expos thing. Their mere existence was an endearing quirk of baseball.

The Swingin' A's can win the division on the last day of the season. Man, I hope they do. This is the Moneyballin'est team they've ever had.

Go A's, Go Billy Beane,

I am happy the Dodgers got eliminated. Now we can get a fucked up round robin in the AL if we have teams tied for the division or wild card.

Did you purposely post a picture of a guy with a giant bulge, or did you even realize that Dotel hasn't been on the A's in 7 years?

That Dotel isn't on the A's anymore is strictly incidental. It's just a great picture. Look at his face. The sheer elation.

The Expos and A's. I don't even care that the A's are down 0-2 and the chances of winning three in a row are slim. I just think it would be pretty cool for Billy Beane to actually get to the Series.

Although if the A's get to the World Series, I still don't expect more than a few thousand at the Coliseum.

Don't be worried. Obama is on the warpath and Mitt had his one lucid moment before his inevitable demise.

A little late to this, but what the hell.

My heart wants Baltimore / Washington. My head says St. Louis / Detroit.

The Tigers await the winner of the Orioles/Yankees' ALDS Game 5. There are rumblings that slumping Yankee 3B Alex Rodriguez is NOT in today's lineup for the one game, winner take all matchup with Jason Hammel & C.C. Sabathia toeing the rubber just after 4P (CT) on TBS & ESPN Radio. The lineup hasn't been revealed yet, but Rodriguez has been terrible to a point where manager Joe Girardi has pinch hit for A-Rod in late game situations. He's 2-for-12 in this series and has looked absolutely lost at the plate. Eric Chavez, who is 0-for-5 and who went 0-for-1 as a pinch hitter late last night in the 13 inning 2-1 loss to the O's, will replace A-Rod in today's lineup.

Not sure if the Yankees or Orioles will win tonight. My decision will be based on whether or not A-Rod starts. Anyone know the answer?

Thanks. My uncle lives in suburban Baltimore. I might send him a fax to see if he knows.

I am hereby officially announcing that I am rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals the remainder of the way.

However, should the Giants beat them, I will be rooting for the Giants over the Tigers.

Before the playoffs started I predicted the Cards & Tigers, so I'm rooting for them.

Already giving up? I guess not every team can match the fortitude of the Glorious Boston Red Sox when facing a 3-0 ALCS deficit.

I will not even dignify that remark with any reaction. I guess under that new math they are teaching in the Army, seven (7) World Series titles equals twenty-seven (27) World Series titles. I am not buying it, nor is anybody with a degree in mathematics, or from high school.

Oh, what did you say, what about American League Pennants? Oh, does twelve (12) equal forty (40)? Not in my book. Try to sell crazy to some other sucker, Favre Fan, I am all stocked up here.

I grew up in New England. I know these maniac Red Sox people. If there is one definite thing I can say about Red Sox fans it is that they are so jealous of The Glorious New York Yankees! These little babies crying to Mommy because they are not as good as those big bad bullies from New York! Ha ha ha ha ha!
