It's disappointing to see the Cardinals getting in when the Braves had the better record.

I can't believe Buck is going with O'day for this long. I think he is in his 3rd inning (1 2/3 technically) of work.

Agreed.

No surprise at all that Dempster choked. He never was worth a shit for the Cubs when the pressure was on.

Just an amazing turnaround for a down and out franchise.

Gives some hope to the Cubs too if guys like Soler, Baez and Alomar can join Rizzo, Castro, Castillo in a couple years and maybe make a run.

It would be nice to see some top draft picks play like top draft picks.....just like Wieters and Machado are doing.

You got it. They better not screw up that #2 draft pick and it should be a SP who should be a mainstay in the rotation by 2015.

Hendry passed on Weiters for Vitters. I've heard it was money related and Zell was to cheap to take Weiters.

Stupid.

The 1 game locker room party is kinda lame.

"Let's hope Soler takes us here!"

Keep on hoping. Your team is so far away from playing games like this its not even funny.

I think they have a plan. If the young talent develops, that provides the base to build the rest of the team through astute trades and free agent acquisitions, just like BAL did this year.

I don't like Buck Showalter at all, but I would really like to see Thome get a ring.

Bullshit call or not, 3 errors is what cost the Braves that game.

The Baltimore Orioles have been a cute little story, but it is time for this little Cinderella story to end.
