There should be a rule that if an entire new thread is named after somebody, that person should get to decide what should or should not be in that thread. I am just thinking out loud here; brainstorming, if you will.

Quite frankly, I see absolutely no reason to see Andre Dawson, Will Clark and Ken Griffey in this thread at all. If it was up to me, that is. These are not great legends of the game like Mickey Charles Mantle.

I would let Ted Williams slide because he was a great legendary ballplayer.

I agree Clark and Dawson are not legendary players.

But Griffey Jr walks with the legends.
