This entire series has felt like I am watching the 5th place consolation game instead of a championship. The sooner its over and buried the better. I used to always root against the evil Yankee empire winning all the time but enough is enough with this shit. The world can spare 3 extra days. The first round needs to be 7 games.

The reality is? The Cardinals probably just made one of the greatest runs in baseball history. And UMN pretty much hit it on the head. A lot of bums on this team. To come back from so many games down, then beat the Phillies and the Brewers and the Rangers?

I think the match up of the 2 best teams would have been the Sawx and the Phillies. I still think they are the best 2 teams overall. They just didn't get it done when it mattered. I want to know when the exception became the rule. When did the upset become the norm? After years of favorites always winning an upset is awesome but now it seems like a total free for all in the playoffs. Now Bud wants to add 2 more teams? I would just say fuck it and make every team eligible in a tourney where the top half of the league is double elimination and the bottom is single elimination. Crown a regular season champ and a tourney champ. No more divisions. The 2 of them can play a 7 game series for the overall title then.
