I know, that early report was bogus. Now I feel sorry for Wood and Prior. Besides the fact that they suck.

Levine alluded to that yesterday after the Bulls game on THE SHOW, Carm seemed bummed.

Bob Ley just read the portion of the report regarding Vina. I was surprised that they did that considering how little they seemed to want to talk about Golic.

Golic claims it was PRESCRIBED by a doctor to him, and at the time it wasn't a banned substance in the NFL, and it was the offseason, and the dog ate his homework, LOCUSTS!, etc. etc. etc.

Wait until he finds out Domenic the Donkey died about 30 years ago and parts of him were used as a pizza topping.

A lot of "nobodies" on the list. I'm not suprised by any of the names. David Segui was always hurt, Eric Gagne had injury problems. Its pretty weak that they got so few names. You know more guys did them.

Too bad Schilling wasn't on the list. :P

As a former Oiler, Golic will always get a free pass with me.

Greenie on the other hand...I don't know what it is about him, but I am a co-founder of his ass licking society.

I like both Golics.. and mentioned him only because of ESPNs desire to forget Golic ever said anything. They go from that to highlighting Vina. They probably did it to get out in front of the questions they'd face about their own guys.

If they were prescribed by a doctor, and weren't banned by the League at the time, there is nothing wrong with what he did.

NO. His big admission is that he took them "illegally" - not prescribed by a doctor.

The Mitchell Report pretty much only lists players who were naive
enough to pay for their ILLEGAL DRUGS with a personal check. Some
with an effusive "Thanks for the 'Roids!" in the memo line.

Minion of Jebus' Brother George Mitchell is whitewashing MLB for Bud
and the owners. "All this stuff is more than 2 years old. Yada Yada
Yada. No current stars under the age of 40. Blah Blah Blah."

Somehow I don't see Clemens and the other listed players going down
without taking a few current super stars with them, as a parting "fuck all y'all" to MLB.

I've always wondered how that shit happens. Why/how did WFAN feel it ok to publish a list that was wrong . . . Wood, Pujols .. . BRUTAL.

I'm just glad that my ability to judge a man's character by watching them play sports on TV has been restored.
I never doubted that Varitek, Bagwell & Joyner were all solid citizens.

So my man Rich Garces didn't eat steroids??

If not for Kirk Radomski and Brian McNamee this report would be empty. What a joke.

oops i didn't mean playing career, i mean his chances getting into the hall of fame, things like that--i hope it just puts a huge pock mark on his career because he's always considered by ESPN and all that as this iron man pitcher, and he's so great...whatever. i just hate the guy and i hope this hurts him a lot.

Hal Morris is on the list? Did he forget to put the steroids in the syringe before he injected?

Hey,
Kevin Mitchell did the best he could.
Cut him some slack.

He threaten to sue Grimsley.

The thing about Clemens is, like Bonds, he was good enough before he started using. If his career was just 1986-1997 (or whenever it was the report said he started using with Toronto), that still would have been one hell of an impressive career. Instead, it would appear he got greedy, maybe wanted to get to 300 wins, whatever. Ridiculous

Wasn't Jerry Hairston the guy who had no idea why is name was in a previous report? Wasn't he also the guy who was going to get his lawyers and get to the bottom of it?

Better yet, get someone to investigate why the hell he ever made it to the big leagues. Just because his daddy played shouldn't mean crap.

He almost knocked that poor old lady off the building. I love when he threw his bat down after he ran into one then waddled off around the bases.

What does "they highlighted Vina" mean?
I missed this. Did they say if they tried to talk with Vina?
