I personally think it's a way for posters who crave attention but can't get it through legitimate thoughts to scream "Look at me!!". It's also obviously a way to try to cover for bad thoughts by saying "Oh, I was just trolling!" But, hey, what do I know... Maybe America is an idiot savant and Frank is... well... not a savant.

Curious to know what everyone else thinks.

The better question might be, who isn't trolling?

Who (on both sides) really believe the words they're typing out?

I'm not sure. I don't really try to troll this board like some do on here. The fact there are board meetings and I enjoy meeting CSFMB'ers and that someone could want to try to punch me in the face, stab, shoot or rape me tends to help keeps things in perspective. I don't really take anything seriously and my dry, dark humor probably rubs a few people on here the wrong way though. I'd prefer if you still don't shoot me.

When I do look to troll, I enjoy trolling things I enjoy or agree with more than shit I don't care for because I know what to say that will get a rise out of those people. For example, I'd say I'm more pro-gun than anti-gun but pro-gun people are alot more fun to fuck with. I also use to enjoy trolling metal videos on YouTube. Just one comment like "This guy isn't as good of a guitar player as Kurt Cobain" would lead to a few hours of fun.

Everyone who trolls is fucked up in the head one way or another but I'd say when I do it it's because I enjoy observing human beings go nuts. We aren't much different than monkeys and gorillas.

No, I would have implied it. But I didn't.

You inferred it.

I personally think those that complain about trolling have grown up in a pitiable existence of sheltered friendlessness where their aging but affluent parents used fertility drugs to produce a single child on whom they ultimately paid little attention.

But I think you are alright.

Thanks.

I wouldn't say I'm completely opposed to trolling. However, it's a bit much when you can't even make a comment in a thread about your team without the other team posting 10 consecutive comments about how dumb you are. That's a bit much. It doesn't even allow for regular conversation without spam everywhere.

Also, I feel the same way about people who complain about people who complain about trolling.

I can understand your point. It's nice to have a straight conversation. On the other hand ridiculousness should be met in kind. I quarantine much of my work and people still complain.

Yeah, this is really aimed more at America and his sidekick.

but people who complain about people who complain about people who complain about trolling are loathsome creatures living in the dark like so many Gollum who achieve brief moments of happiness by basking in reflected light
