I think something like this ... anything objective that eliminates the fan vote, frankly ... would be just fantastic. Save the fan vote for the one late addition or something to throw them a token bone. Anyway, if the game was today, here are the depth charts: (Note from the fella that put this together: Minnesota and Atlanta did not qualify a player on their own account this week. Minnesota's Eduardo Nunez bumped the Red Sox' Dustin Pedroia off the roster as a result. Likewise, Atlanta's Julio Teheran replaced the Cubs' Jason Hammel. I know, I know, Red Sox and Cubs fans, it's a crime, but you're just going to have to settle for SIX players on the roster instead of seven. |

It's an exhibition. They could choose the team by which guy lays the biggest dump and I wouldn't care. |

IMU wrote: bWAR 4 lyfe If it handles 1B better that'd be fine. Whatever the case, a sport that uniquely loves its numbers should logically have its AS game governed by that devotion, a game that (like it or not ... and the correct answer is 'not') determine home field advantage for its championship. |

And that ends this thread. No way that can be argued. Either do this or get rid of that dumb ass Selig/AS rule. |

Unfortunately, Manfred will not be changing that until Selig passes away. |

I enjoy the voting, even if it leads to sub optimal results. Leave it an exhibition, just have home field advantages determined by record |

The better answer is to not have the championship HFA determined by absurd games. There are many (not MANY) more satisfying ways to determine HFA. |
