I dont see the huge difference between Addison Russell and Tyler Saladino, aside from the obvious TOP PROSPECT THEO'S PLAN bias. BA Saladino: .258 Russell: .237 OBP Saladino: .282 Russell: .326 SLG: Saladino: .412 Russell: .367 And Saladino only has one less HR than Russell despite having half the PA's. Except for a pretty bad series that came out of nowhere Saladino has been perfectly acceptable on defense, and even made a few nice plays. Both are young players, but Russell definitely had more big league experience coming into the year so its not like Saladino has some crafty veteranship he benefits from. I dont even like Tyler Saladino that much and I'm glad he's been replaced by Anderson. |

Abreu can't be the DH. He's the worst hitter in the city. Pick any bench guy from the Cubs for that spot. |
