My uncle usually gets pounds of them around this time. Yeah, we've had some banner years filling up 5-gallon buckets. My brother found one last year that was twice as tall as a beer can. The biggest problem is dealing with all the ticks. I guess potential Lyme disease is the price you pay for a rare delicacy. |

I’ve contemplated putting electric fence around our wood lots. The motel hunters are worse than the turkey and deer hunters. |
