Jake is a better pitcher, so you offer him the deal he is worth, first of all. And it wasn't the same contract. Jake got $75M for 3 and will end up getting more than the $120M the Cubs offered over those same years. He will not have 'taken less.' |

angry phillies come in to play cubs for 3. they were having a good year until this last series vs the giants. i have a feeling not everyone likes the phillies young manager. But he's been doing a great job so far. |
