Today marks the 30th anniversary of the Orioles’ 0-21 streak ending at Comiskey Park. Even that night, the team couldn’t celebrate - Billy Ripken was beaned and taken to the hospital. The O’s returned to Baltimore 1-23 days later - and were greeted by 50,402 at Memorial Stadium. |
