Ohtani isn't making much. His hope was to tear it up and make his dough through arbitration. That isn't going to happen now. It still isn't a for sure surgery. He could still opt to see how the platelets injection works and just play sans pitching. |

He pulled a Hugh Downs and won't be back until 2020. BTW, Hugh Downs is alive and well at the young age of 97. |

They said the impact of a MLB swing on the elbow is about 1/3 of a pitch. So three swings of a bat equals 1 MLB pitch. 140 PA's, 4-5 swings per PA? It's something to ponder. |
