NL is wide open. No teams dominating like the last 2 years. Cubs have a good shot just as do the Brewers. Atlanta is scary but I think still too young. NL West is a log jam but feel like Dbacks win it, Dodgers get WC, but Cubs have a good shot at the pennant this year.

AL is Houston in a league of it's own right now. Then you have the Yanks, Red Sox, Indians as the 2nd tier and a feel good story w/ the Mariners.

Right now if I'm a Cubs fan I think they're just as good as anyone else to make it back to the WS this year.

Three teams on pace for 106 losses or worse. Not a top heavy league at all!

People are saying there will be an outcry if the Red Sox and Yankees win 100+ games and the second-place team loses the wildcard game, but to your point, those people need to realize that the main reason those teams are getting so many wins is because of so many other teams tanking.
