Yeah Babe Ruth with today’s training and medicine would hit 80 HRs a season. He wouldn’t be out whoring, eating, smoking and drinking all night and waking up and going to a play a true doubleheader the next day.

That swing is very slow for a MLB player now. He would have to adjust it. I think he would but if we are talking about a time machine putting Babe Ruth into Yankee Stadium and saying "Go hit a home run" then he gets crushed. If he had time to make those adjustments that are now needed to compete I think he would easily.

I view it similarly how people say "Jordan wasn't a great three point shooter!" like he somehow couldn't extend his range. Ruth would have dominated but the exact type of player he was back then would struggle today.
