Starlin Castro's $16M option rejected by the Marlins so he is a FA. On a cheaper one year deal, he would be a good fit for the White Sox until Madrigal is ready, and could back up at SS/3B. |

He hasn't been a regular at SS since he was a Cub. 2B/3B and can play SS now and then. But with Moustakas going to the Reds, I think Milwaukee is a likely landing place for him. Hiura is bad defensively at 2B and may end up playing some 1B along with Thames. Plus Shaw is a bit of a mess. He'd be a good #7 hitter for them. |

Career OPS of .751. Too much money, too many years. |
