Comfortable landing spot. But, high payroll with 90 losses. Near bottom minor league rating. Must be promised spend, spend, spend, or it's strictly filling his pockets.

Gerrit Cole will help out Joe. But there's still the matter of Houston and the ever present A's

At least he can’t bat the pitcher 8th except some inter league.

According to Bernstein no one is hiring these type of managers anymore. Wrong again.

I guess you haven't read the book that smart people have read.

If he wins in Los Angeles he will never have to buy a drink again.

Joe Sheehan must’ve said that at some point then.

First order of business for groovy Joe should be to install a bank of ATM's in the clubhouse:

Flipping millennials, venmoing payments to their drug dealers. Might as well text the DEA and tweet about it every time you buy drugs.

I thought snorting pain killers is a no no?

Post subject:  Re: Maddon to Angels

I wouldn't recommend it. You have no idea what's in those Big Pharma franken-pills. Much safer to stick to street drugs. At least with street drugs there's immediate accountability if someone tries to sell you bunk gear.

I thought they put something in OC's a few years ago that made them less desirable for inhaling? Prolly you can cook off the acetaminophen or whatever and end up with pure oxy to snort or shoot.

Angels threw a no-no in Skaggs honor after he died.

A combined no-hitter in honor of the combination of drugs Skaggs was abusing.

Combining alcohol and opiates almost suicidal combination. Still be alive if he'd scored some premo North Texas/South Oklahoma methamphetamine to mix with his fentanyl and oxycodone.

Skaggs sounds like a fiend. Texting the Angels Director of Communications while he's in rehab/the hospital recovering from an OD for more drugs.

Wonder what that text message was like ,

"Yo, bro, heard you're in hospital. That sucks. Hey, while I'm here, since you just almost OD'd you probably won't be needing the rest of that last batch we bought, mind if I swing by your house and pick up the leftovers? Just text your wife and let her know I'll be there in 15. TIA, you're the best. Try not to die! LOLOL."
