Good for him.. Looks like he dropped 65 lbs. He had to be 325 at his heaviest.. Hall of fame, yes or no? I say yeah. |

The alcoholism also, he was pretty damn amazing considering. In 2008, he put the Brewers on his back to get them to the playoffs. He pitched on 3 days rest basically the whole 2nd half of the season. |

He should have laid off the sauce, but I would leave him out of the HOF for abandoning his team to go to rehab during a playoff run. He couldn't wait a couple more weeks? |

I still blame The Cub!!!! ![]() Gallardo blew out his knee the opening series in Chicago that year and couldn't help Fatty get us further as he wasn't the same when he came back for the playoffs. |
