He had a great year and is a good pitcher, but no one really even knows if last year was real or not. And on top of that the best player on a team or in a city is not going to be a pitcher. Baez is the answer right now, but it could be Eloy or Robert if things go well for them. |

If Baez is the answer, you have a shitty group of players. People get woozy over the flashy plays and miss all the holes in his game, which became more glaring when he was moved to the tougher defensive position. Baez isn't even the best SS in this city. It's ridiculous that the AL batting champion would get overlooked in comparison. Everyone jumping on Robert "by the end of the season" needs to slow their roll as well. It may be true by the end of 2021. Yoan Moncada is the best player in this city. Eloy Jimenez will be the best at the end of 2020 |

He struggled at 3rd early but then inexplicably got great. I still worry about the looking for walks. Cuz I want to win on the scoreboard and not in the scorebook. |
