Schambi just theorized that in this new era of 5 inning starters , if you can put up a sub 3 ERA youre gonna get paid . The bar gets ever lower.

It's so great to talk with a major league scout friend, and talk about the things that make a ballplayer pop at an early age.

I may go get a scout's floppy hat and an umbrella and catch a few amateur night games this summer. :D
