I liked him as a player. Watched him as a kid on many of the early Cub games when he was a Dodger. Not sure what I think about some of his techniques as a manager. I think some of the best of them we know nothing about because they were in a locker room or clubhouse office dealing with players. Only thing that I didn't really like was using his kid as a shield in pressers.

Not a HOF manager. Managed well over 20 years had many talented playoff teams only one ring.
