I think if you say that even as a Freudian slip it's something that's in your heart to begin with. |

I wouldn't want to sit with that bearded guy as he eats bbq. We now are cancelling people for things they unintentionally said. People who call you foolish to believe in a soul turn around and look into his heart as evidence. |

People are trying to cancel Dallas Braden too. I guess he didn't earn any social credit from his BLM protests. We'll see if he addresses it on the Baseball is Dead podcast. |

The guy stumbled over a word for God's sake. Maybe if you're so quick to hear what you think you heard, it's you who is the racist. |

Well when people even think you said THE word , its time to find new employment . Must be all that white fragility , wanting to be victims I keep hearing about . |

I've listened to Bob Kendrick interviews in the past. He's a wonderful kind person. |

But he shouldn't need to be forgiven. He didn't use a slur. Unless you really believe he called it the N*gger League Museum. I find that preposterous. More likely he just pronounced "Negro" in a way that could be seized upon. But I have been told "negro" is a slur. So who knows? |

The Museum is amazing. Every baseball fan should go to it at some point. No way I believe that was an intentional slur that he did. He stumbled in his words. Crazy world. I am honestly surprised they havent changed the name of that museum in our current culture. |

There is a good chunk of the population that rolls out of bed each and every day looking for a reason to be offended. We see it here with a few posters over and over again. No way I believe that was an intentional slur that he did. He stumbled in his words. Crazy world. I am honestly surprised they havent changed the name of that museum in our current culture. If they didn't find offense in an Oakland A's broadcast booth, they certainly would have found something else to get mad about this weekend. Its a pathetic way to live. The Phillies have a Dick Allen bobblehead giveaway later this season. Its sponsored by Johnson Controls. Dick and Johnson is the same promo read is just asking for trouble even for the most seasoned broadcaster. Yet there are people out there taking pitch forks to Kevin Stocker. |

But don't you think that's kind of silly? If he was talking about a woman named Sally Kant and happened to say her name so it sounded like Sally C*nt, do you think he should have to apologize to keep his job, to not be considered a sick misogynist? Apologizing makes it seem like you said something wrong rather than just tripping over your tongue or using an odd pronunciation. Victor Davis Hanson says "nucular" all the time and he's as educated as a person can be. All kinds of people use odd pronunciations. I'm sorry that we've turned one single word into such a taboo that a guy who says "Negruh League Museum" on TV is considered a Grand Wizard. |

If you make a mistake, whether it is intentional or not, it's okay to apologize. We all fuck up. In general, it won't hurt anyone to acknowledge an error. It says a lot about how fragile someone's ego is when they can't do it. |

I’m not saying anyone should be fired. I’m saying courtesy dictates that if you slip up and say something like that even accidentally, you say “I’m sorry” and the other party typically offers forgiveness. I complimented the gentleman from the museum for offering that. |

I'm not sure what world folks are living in where they don't think anyone should apologize if they did something accidentally. |
