I like it.

Hmmm...destroying the record home run ball. What a unique idea. I wish I would have thought of that...

What are you talking about doc?
Did someone destroy a record home run ball?

He's talking about launching it into space and Beardown or Good Dolphin or Coach and I, I can't remember who got into a discussion a while back where I said if I got it I would blow it up in a big sponsored celebration and then sell the scraps to the highest bidder.

Not quite the same but I still like the sentiment.

He said if it were to be donated to HOF he's stamp an * on it.
That's cold.

I dont agree with that either, but if hes spending over 700,000 bones on it, its all up to him.

Gotchya,
I thought you were referring to the Bartman ball hype, but was pretty sure that as a Cub fan you would vividly remember that it was not a home run ball.

I actually hope that he donates the ball to the HOF, under the condition that they display in a case containing a copy of "Game of Shadows"

I voted for the asterisk. But being a traditionalist, it would have to be a "*" with six arms. The one shown on the site has only five arms.
