That's a good story. Nobody thought they could make it when September started. Nobody. They've won 20 out of 21. Amazing. To have that streak when every game was big and needed. That's the greatest run in MLB history. I'll be rooting for them in the World Series. |

Im just glad that jerkoff Eric B. made the last out, and that we won't have to hear from Bob Melvin anymore. |

They certainly are a buzzsaw. A month ago, there was no hope for them and then they just kept winning. It really is a good story. What is the weather projection for Denver for the Series? Isn't there usually a foot of snow by mid-October? |

To me the craziest aspect of the whole thing is still that without that 9th inning hit by Tony Gwynn Jr. they would never have made it |

i saw them play the Dbacks at coors back in may. randy johnson shut them out on 2 hits, chris young and byrnes accounted for the Dbacks 3 runs with homers. at that point, the Dbacks were red hot and the rox were like 10 games under .500 the streak they've gone on is incredible, much less in october. im pulling for the rockies, but as long as the red sox dont win ill be happy |

There's been a few moments like that. The blown save by Trevor Hoffman in the one-game playoff comes to mind as well. I'm sure there were other moments during the regular season run at the end. A million things have had to go right, and they all have. Good for the Colorado fans, who at least seemed to have no trouble filling up the stadium (despite the weather, and despite not having a pool in right field, and HDTVs behind home plate.) |
