I love the World Series every year no matter who is playing. I think this will be a great Series. It's baseball so I could be wrong and it could be a sweep either way. I know this doesn't have the buzz nationally because of the Rockies but the teams playing never matter to me. It's the Wolrld Series and it's always big to me. I'll be rooting for the Rockies of course. I'll bet all non Red Sox fans watching will do the same. |

I'm no Red Sox fan, but I'll be rooting for them since I think the Rocks are run by a bunch of God-freaks. Sure it's petty, but I don't have any other strong feelings that would make me a fan of either team. |

This series is a classic David vs. Goliath scenario. Boston has been the class of the AL basically the entire way but everyone (save chowdah-heads) is rooting for the scrappy Rockies to pull the rug from under them. Personally I can't stand the Red Sox (thank you ESPN) so I'm rooting for Colorado here. Also, hot teams in October are frequently the ones who come through, and teams don't get much hotter than the Rockies are right now. That said, pragmatism wins the day. Red Sox in 6. |

I feel the same way about Schilling and Manny Ramirez. Although I still have a bad taste in my mouth because of the Cubs (I still believe they should have beaten Arizona and Colorado), I'm rooting for the Rockies. |

Agreed, especially since it is now too late to root for the NL's latest version of scrappy gamers/grinders
