I think that if Jones wants that kind of money, he'll have to settle for a 1 year deal this year to prove that this year was a fluke and try to break the bank next year.

I think Sosa will have a hard time getting that much because he is basically a 40 year old DH at this point in his career, and there isn't exactly a huge market for that kind of player. If he was willing to play for peanuts again this year, or hold out for the first month to see if somebody has an injury they have to deal with, me might have a shot at getting significant PT.

That's what I would think, but I'm expecting to be wrong when some team gives him a 4 year deal in the 80 million range.
