Jimmy Rollins won it. Pretty impressive, considering he might be the third best player on his own team.

Interesting to note, the Cubs had three players get votes. Soriano finished 12th, Ramirez finished 13th, and MARMOL finished 26th.

I thought baseball was over in October...?
I am so confused.

Rollins didn't make the all-star team this year because dumb dick LaRussa chose Rowand instead. That move continues to bite him in the ass.

What, does Harry have an MVP vote? Honestly, who the hell voted for Carlos Marmol for MVP?

He had 1 point, so I think that means that one voter gave him a 10th place vote.

Rollins was probably the best available (i.e. untainted) or non pitcher candidate. He was the glue to that Phillies team, any Brewer gets discounted for their post July fade, and well, Matt Holiday seems to be the clubhouse favorite for juicer of the year....in the NL 8)

His team won their division, he played 162 games at the most important postion on the field (and played it outstanding), he had 88 extra base hits, scored 139 runs (led the NL), knocked in 96 (batting 2nd most of the year) and stole 41 bases. I'd say he deserved the award.
