Fans, as much as we here in Chicago could care less about the Boston Red Sox & New York Yankees meeting for the last time at Yankee Stadium this week, what is the deal with the schedule? I know that Major League Baseball has been working with an unbalanced schedule for the last several years to accommodate Interleague play, but there have been several occasions where the White Sox & Cubs have been BOTH at home & have been BOTH on the road at the same time. The schedule doesn't seem to make much sense, especially when the Cubs last weekend hosted the lowly Washington Nationals at Wrigley & the Sox hosted the Cinderella Tampa Bay Rays at "The Cell". About 2 weekends ago, the Cubs were in Miami to face the Marlins while the Sox had a quick 3 game roadie in Oakland vs. the A's before coming home to host the Seattle Mariners. I don't get it...
