Former Indian and White Sox hurler Herb Score passed away at 75. Was a promising pitcher for the Tribe until Gil MacDougal hit a liner of his pate. Breaking his nose a causing him vision problems. The Sox got him after that and wasn't quite the same! Was a long time announcer for the Indians. The scout who scouted him and Sandy Koufax thought Herb had better stuff!!!! If he wasn't injured probably a HOF'er! |

Herb Score: Pitcher for Sox, Indians, became broadcaster 1933-2008 | Bright career went downhill after face was shattered by a line drive I always wanted him to be our Score mascot. Herb Score - get it?! Not to be confused with the angry Score Herb a/k/a/ palehose23. |
